Hi guys, new to site and the hopeful joys of having an old truck in the family. My newly licensed son just spent his hard earned money on a '66 C-10 truck. Don't know much about anything we are getting into or the truck for that matter, but he loved it right of the bat, and we have been talking about doing this for some time and now here we are, hoping some of you can shed some light on both. The truck is a Timberliner model (from Seattle, Washington? according to the guy I bought it from who trailer it out here to Florida, and the name on the side of the truck)- it has a 327, manual transmission, original factory air, large back window...not sure what else to offer up about it, still figuring it out. Aside from some good rust, and the missing drivers window and regulator, it runs pretty well, and is still drivable, as long as its not raining (which happens oftern here). Looking forward to being part of the community and learning about our new (old) truck.
