My machinest said that it's a big problem on vehicles with high lift cams and high spring rates on the valves. He said he's had to replace dozens of cams in big blocks. All I know is that I'm not going to spend a grand on machine work and parts only to see ultimate failure. I'm going to play it safe with my engine and use Zinc.
