#46401 06/18/2005 3:34 AM | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 103 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 103 | I have a vacuum / gas seep leak at the throttle plate opening on both of the 216 bases on my 2 Rochester 1 barrel carbs. I am running the best base right now, but there is a good bit of "play" at the throttle plate hole / oval. I am not a machinist, so I can't put a bushing in to tighten things up. Is there another alternative / fix that I could use? The components of both carbs are OK otherwise. Thanks, BW | | |
