The '55 is one peice, the '56 is 2 peice. Sounds like you have a mixed pair. Part of the reason that they went to 2 peice in '56 was to cut costs. It's cheaper to cast the smaller section with the series designation and have the forward part be the same than to have to tool up a complete fender emblem for each series. But either way, they should have been matched, either 1 peice or 2 peice. What year truck do you have? And are the fender spears above or below the fender crease?
