I`m looking into buying a 292 eng. out of a `67 or `68 pickup that hasen`t run for years. I would like to try to start it, and hear it run before I buy it. However someone (over the years) opened the hood, and robbed the distributor, along with the cap, and wires. My question is "will any 194, 230, 250, dist. work, or does it have to be a 292 specific dist?" Also isn`t the 235 distributor wrong for that engine? Thanks, JD
