Anyone ever heard that your not supposed to paint a gas tank due to it insulating too much and causing moisture to build up inside? I was going to prime and paint my tank since it sits behind the seat in the cab of my truck and is pretty visible. But than someone mentioned it would cause too much insulation and condensation could form in the tank. Doesn't seem likely to me but I'm pretty inexpierenced. It is an original tank and its not painted, so maybe he has a point.
