The period correct stupidity of making my 37 look like it still has the original foot stomp starter is driving me nuts,so here is what I got and can someone tell me which one to use. My 37 has one of those modified bellhousings which is a 47 to 53,I bought a 41-6 linkage from a local junkyard and it bolts to the bellhousing but it comes up through the floor in a different spot. Someone sent me pics of one from a 38 and it looks similar to the 41-6 but the knob looks like it will come through the same spot as a 37 (more over to the left then on a 41-6),I have recieved a 36 which I think looked identicle to the original 37 part but bolts to the bellhousing a little different so what do I need to put the foot stomp starter knob through the original hole.
