I fully agree with you on this. Thankfully all they have to do is connect the automated tester to the batter and let it do its thing.
So after the post above, the interior came out of the truck. I found some VERY interesting things. Staying on subject, my initial look under the dash identified some issues. Pulling it all out showed the true nature of the situation. Last time I checked, household wire nuts had no place in automotive electrical. No, I'm not kidding. I have much love for the previous owners. NOT. Anyway, knew it was a project when I got it. Starting tomorrow the new harness goes in along with some other electronic goodies.
