I need a new flywheel ring gear for my '54 235-139 tooth. I can't seem to find any major parts outlet that can get me one. I can get a 168 tooth ring cheap, though, so I'm thinking about putting a later starter in. Is it possible to convert the starter for the 139 tooth gear to 168 tooth? Anyone know where I can get a 139 tooth gear relatively cheaply? Thanks a bunch, fellows.
