I seem to remember someone a few months, years ago rigged up an impact driver from an old extension. They welded a handle on the extension and a screw drive tip on the end of the extension. They put it their impact wrench and removed rusted in screws and bolts. They said it worked great. Maybe someone with a better memory could elaborate.
