For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 324 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 324 | Just spent about 3 hrs on ea door. Mine are not yet painted. Loosened the bolts and used little wooden wedges to move the door front to back. Also repeated this at the top and sides. Finally got it looking pretty decent. Drilled small holes & installed registration pins (split spring type pin) front & side area of hinge. One slight difference! Exterior drivers side door to cowl area of body seems to show a wider gap. Since I plan to paint the interior, original champagne, I wonder if the interior paint will show through from the outside or will the rubber cover the space? | | |
