In the last part of 1966 I was looking around for a new pickup.I could have bought a new 1966 Chevy or Ford pickup,six,cyl.standard shift,long box,of either one for $1500.I ended up buying a 1965 Ford from a neighbor for $1500. The Ford had a 352 V/8,radio,deluxe heater and was a Custom Cab.Starting with the 1967 models the price really jumped.
