Patrick's and Tom Langdon both sell Delta Cams. I believe they have the best cam grind patterns available for our engines. I have their 254 adv. duration grind in my 261 and am really happy with it. You can call them and tell them what your plans are for your engine and how you will use it and they will set you up with the right cam. Very helpful and knowledgeable folks there.
Heavier springs and push rods are really only required for more radical cam grinds with very high lift and long duration for high rpm engines. In these engines the ZDDP level in your oil becomes a more critical factor than with stock/street motors.
