I have purchased a plate from langdons also and have a 2004r that I am using with a 3:73 rear axle from a S10 as suggested by Tom Langdon. I posted this on another site Killbillet.com in the ratrod projects and got a very NEGTIVE responce from someone named PHAT. He went on and on about what JUNK langdon's stuff is and how he has removed 6 of the adapter plates because they break the flywheel(I think he meant flexplate)and the HEI he sells doesn't engage the oil pump correct and what ripoff Tom langdon is and a thief and on and on.I have not installed mine yet and have not read anything else bad about Langdons or his products.Only good things here and customers on his site and inliners.com site. Not sure what happened with this guy but he has a BIG problem with Langdons. Go to killbillet.com look under rat projects the posting is, my current project...48 GMC and check out the last few postings to see what I mean. He also said that tom had him removed from this site because of the bad things he has said and Langdons gives the site a lot of money so they did it!. I met Tom and he was very nice and helpful and seem to know his stuff!. I hope that PHAT did some thing to create his own problems and not what he says about Langdons.
Let me know if anyone else has had any problems with Langdon's products. Thanks Mel
