I did not have a camera for pics,but I saw an AD 1/2 ton with power steering, it obviously worked, but I wasn't sure if this is a good idea, looking for criticism, constructive or otherwise.
Here's what he did:
1. Turned his axle around so the tie rod is now in front.
2. Took a power steering gear, pitman arm, steering stabilizer and the drag link/tie rod assembly from a older full size jeep wagoneer and put it in place on the AD.
3. Cut and bushed his steering shaft with one U-joint to the saginaw box.
4. Had front end aligned.
Now he has front cross steering.
I think a locator bar or sway bar would have been a good idea to keep the axle in check, but he said it worked great.
