I went to Home Depot and bought some "Peel and Stick" , did the inside of one door with it and while it made a difference I wasn't real happy with the way it went on ( it was sagging in places and had some air pockets where I was afraid moisture would get into).
I then went to a stereo shop and paid for the real thing and will say you get what you pay for. 3 times thicker, better adhesion, easier install, and BIG difference in noise reduction.
Not a lot of fun to pull the Home Depot stuff out of the door to put the good stuff in.
