The tranny is a stock 4 speed/compound low. I have removed the cable, its perfect. I can easily spin the gear in the tranny that the cable mates with by hand. That's why I believe the gears are stripped inside the tranny. How does one remove these gears when I do find a set? It appears I'll have to disconnect the driveshaft and disassemble the universal joint assembly as well. Any suggestions or shortcuts?
