For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 128 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 128 | the intake i speak of is a Thickstun "dogbone". im beginning to think that it will have smaller ports, but all in all i wonder if with it having smaller ports will that have a negative enuff effect on the performance of my 261 to warrant not getting it. the 261 when built will not be stock by any means. to me if i do get the intake, it would be the perfect crowning visual touch to the motor. but of course it aint worth doodley if it dont work correctly. the carbs that come with the intake are Holley, 1808's.?.1908's ? something to that effect. | | | |
