I thought this day would never come . My finacial advisor (wife)
gave me the go ahead to build my shop. She even said i could start ordering parts for the truck after i finish the garage. It isnt going to be anything fancy , post and beam framing with metal siding. 24x24 with 2 10' doors and 1 regular walk thru door on the side. It beats the heck out of working under my carport and 6x8 metal storage shed. I Have made good progress on it so far, the biggest thing slowing me down is I have done 95% of this by myself. My neighbor came over with his lasers and helped me get it all squared up and all the posts braced, and another neighbor loaned me his C02 powered framing nail gun. ( man that thing is awesome) lifting thos 12' long 2x12's and holding them in place while i nailed them was very interesting.
I cant wait to get it finished and move the truck out there so i can start working on it.
