| | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 81 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 81 | I have a 52 3100 I had just converted from a closed driveline to an open driveline. The pinion seal on the replacement rearend is leaking. NAPA lists three different possible rears for the year rearend I had installed which is between 54-59. How can I tell which rearend it is and can I replace the seal myself. Do I just remove the driveshaft, the the big nut, pop out the seal and install the new one? Is it that simple?
Any help is much appreciated.
