They can be welded but that is such a common one that it would be better to find a used one. Any v-8 55 to 72 or 6 from 63-72 with the large flywheel will fit. Except 68 up with 4 speed has a larger center hole. A few back in the early 60's had the clutch opening on the right hand side.
