As we all know the Chevy pick-up 49-54 used the dreaded torque tube. I have a 1941 Pontiac with a three on the tree and a open drive shaft. is that the same transmission? could I just steal a tail shaft from a Pontiac? or does anyone have pictures and dimensions of a tail shaft that I could use to machine one? | | |
