What have others used as a substitute for defroster hose? I have a Deluxe fresh air heater. Went into Advanced Auto Parts today and found something called "preheater hose" in 2" diameter by 36" length for $6.95.
Brought it home and it was a bit too big. Checked an online truck supplier and they sell defroster hose that is 1 3/4" dia.
for $18.....a bit pricy. Advanced did not have any that size. They also did not sell defroster hose.
Does anyone have any suggestions for an economical substitute or know of an auto parts store that sells defroster hose?
