Just try to get it running and driving-- then see what you want to change. If you need a different motor I agree with Jeff that a SBC is probably the way to go with maybe TPI because it is a low profile fuel system. Or go all out and put a Duramax with the Allison in it. Or put one of the big sixes in it with a few speed parts-- but be careful and do like Jeff said-- plan what you want to do and finish one thing at a time so you don't get discouraged and no finish anything.
