Thanks for all of the input guys. Somewhere in the truck's past life, eye-bolts were installed in each corner of the floor behind the seats and just in front of the doors. I plan to put "larger eye" eye-bolts in the rear, in the same holes since they are already there, with a sturdy strap to lift the rear from the inside with my cherry picker. The large shed where the truck is now sitting has a beam that i can use to lift the front with a strap and hoist either at the firewall or right behind the cowl.
I've built a roll-around cart with large casters, similar to the plans located elsewhere on the Stovebolt Page. Since it's a flat platform made out of 2 X 10's, I plan to attach 4 vertically mounted 4 X 4's, of yet undetermined height, to the sides of the 2 X 10's with large bolts, and then tie them together in pairs with level 2 X 4's at the top.
I started this thread to see if there had been any difficulties with "body-bending" as I lift the body off of the frame. It sounds like I won't have any problems if I'm careful and don't get carried away. If I remember, I'll try to take some pictures as I go along. Taking pictures is not the problem--REMEMBERING to take the pictures, is the problem!
