After waiting 6 months, I've got the sheet metal for my '50 AD at the body shop. I was reviewing the bedsides with the body guy and he showed me the holes on the rear stake pockets where the tail lights were mounted. He asked if I wanted these holes welded up. The holes are located about 1/2 way up the stake pocket.
It suddenly occured to me that I've never really noticed how the tail lights were originally mounted on a '50. I believe there was only 1 tail light. Does anyone have any advice on where the best place is to mount tail lights? I'm mounting lights on both sides.
I looked in the gallery and found several variations. Any advice or pics would be greatly appreciated!
