With the brakes, axle, and engine finally working and running right on my '57 6400, the last major issue that I need to deal with before I can put her back to work is the hoist. The front seal on the pump was leaking oil out about as fast as I could put it back in. I pulled the pump, disassembled it, and cleaned it up, but I can't find any identifying markings on it besides casting numbers on the iron pieces. I need some help figuring out what it is and where I can find a gasket and seal kit. The hoist is a single cylinder unit with an integral control valve and PTO-driven gear pump. The pump hangs off the bottom of the front of the cylinder. The entire unit is covered with about a half inch of grease, dirt, and gunk. If there's a tag or some such identification on it, I sort of need an idea where it would be or else I'd spend the entire weekend under it with a putty knife. Any ideas where to start?
