| | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 39 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 39 | I have a 1948 AD pick up its 1 ton ,with a 58 235 6 and sm420 trans .I cant find any disc brake conversions ,so would a 1/2 ton front axel fit it then I could add front discs .Also I would like to change the rear to something mabey off a newer 1/2 to 1 ton truck with rear disc brakes and a higher gear im sure the rear in it now has a 5 something ratio .I wont be using the truck for hauling anything but myself, does this sound possible | | |
