Stock 283 cranks had a 3.00" inch stroke. You'd have to bore a 283 more than .125" with a 3" stroke to get a 327. And the 327 didn't come out until '62 or so, so the '50's hot rods must've used a different stroker crank to give 327 CID. Anybody know what crank that was?
