Check the Gallery for two-tone 47-53 two-tone exteriors (you probably have done this already).
In 1954, there were factory option two-tone exteriors (several combinations). Some photos are linked below - use your imagination regarding/ignoring the grill.

Some pictures show the lower color going to the bottom of the body-belt, while other pictures show the lower color going to the top of the body belt. I think the lower color went to trhe bottom of the body belt (and the other artist might have been wrong). However, do what suits your tastes.
