For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 | I think you are refering to the garnish molding. This in fact surrounds the whole window. I'm not entirely sure about the '54 but on mine (a '50) there are two trims joined at the middle of the dash and at the top of the windshield. I don't know if you can buy them new but your best bet would be to try and find good second hand ones from one of the many sellers in the swap meet section. I could actually be doing with a new set myself! 1950 Chevy Advance Design 3100 in ScotlandIn the Stovebolt GalleryMore pix on Flickr. I've definately got this truck thing in my blood ... my DNA sequence has torque settings"Of all the small nations of this earth, perhaps only the ancient Greeks surpass the Scots in their contribution to mankind" Winston Churchill.
