No, no, no. The TPI should be used with all sensors and the knock sensor will fit with block hugger manifolds. I have an '89 TPI on my '62, and all of the sensors work and are connected, the knock sensor is located at the side of the lower engine block water jacket. Give me a call at --- --- ---- and we can talk this through. Trust me, it will fit.
