The Nova does not have a complete frame like your truck. It has a sub frame that bolts to the body just behind the firewall area. The Nova is a unibody car where the body and frame are one structural unit.
What the street rodders are referring to is using the sub frame from the Nova, and grafting it to your truck frame. Do a search for subframing and you will get some good results. Also look on Webrodder.com, there is a wealth of info there.
