Hi guys, new to the board, but I've been reading and gaining knowledge from this board for about a year. It's great!
I finally registered because I have two questions. I just had my 250 rebuilt and I'm in the process of reinstalling it. My questions have to do with installing the clutch. Of course in my rush to get the engine to the shop, I pulled of the clutch without noting anything.
Q#1: On the throwout bearing, there is a raised hump in the outside groove. Does this hump go between the fork fingers or outside of the fork fingers?
Q#2: The new clutch set came with a sleeve or bearing about 3/4" long, funny, when I took off the old clutch this part was and is no where to be found. Do I install it? or was it made for a different model? where does it go?
Any help would be appreciated.
