It has taken me a long time, but I finally got a 235 for my 57. It is a 1955 235 a guy took out to have rebuilt. While it was being rebuilt he ended up putting a 350 in his so when he got the 235 back from being rebuilt he stored it in his garage. A guy I know told me he had it and would sell it for less than he had in it to recoupe some of his money. Its been setting for a few months but I finally have a new rebuilt motor. It even came with new plugs, wires, distributor, coil, rebuilt generator, new water pump, new thermostat, a good carburator & manifold,3 spd transmission & a spare steering column with a near perfect steering wheel. I think I did OK for $1800.

The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill (1806 - 1873)
