I have a 1940 1/2 ton p/u 216 w 3 speed trans. I will get a bit of grinding from 1st to 2nd gear.
If I hold the clutch down and hesitate a few seconds between shifts, I do not notice the slight grind. It seems to need a few seconds to "slow down" or sync or whatever it's doing in there. Also, if I push the clutch down quickly I do not notice it as often.
Are there any simple adjustments to rectify this? Thanks for your help.
