| | | | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 1,820 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 1,820 | One thing the T-5 equipped Astro and Safari vans do have is a short throw shifter, shorter than the S-10 vehicles have. This is a more desirable shifter for our older vehicles. It allows a longer shift stick allowing a more stock like shifter set up. The only problem is that the production of Astro and Safari vans with the T-5's are limited compared to the ones equipped with 700R4 transmissions. Joe
