This sounds silly, I know, but I bought a new rubber cowl vent gasket for my '51 COE. Now that the truck is painted, I went to put it in, but couldn't figure out which way was up. It has a groove on one side which SHOULD fit over the raised rib, but it seems too long to go that way, and too short to sit in the outside "well". WTF? This should be the easiest part of the whole thing!
BTW: Cab inner windlace? Make sure the channel isn't crimped
anywhere around the door, or you'll strain a gonad trying to pull it through!
