I can think of one way to fix it, you will have to take the carrier out of the housing to do it easily, though. Get a stock replacement and a Heli-Coil kit in the correct thread size. Heli-Coils are actually stronger than the original threads, so it should work as long as you didn't have to drill it out too much to get the pin out.
