Growing up, it seemed like the trucks lasted at least 10 years. I remember the 49 Chev that Daddy hauled cows in. The 59, that I learned to drive in. The 69, that I dated in and learned the value of the shifter being on the column not the floor. After the 69 it was a 72,73,a drought,81,87, 95 and now Daddy has a 2007. The memories of the older trucks ring true. I will count the lug nuts.
