I live about 3000 miles from my parents place where my 59 Apache is being stored. I'm going to have the bed blasted and I'll be priming the bare metal. How long can I let primer sit on metal before having to topcoat it with paint? What would be the best primer to use if it's going to be a few years before painting it.
