I just did power disc brakes on a 52 car with a 54 235. I have plenty of vacuum for the brakes. We put a larger tap for vacuum off the intake manifold. Don't know if that was necessary, but we really like the power disc brakes. The vacuum holds up good, even in stop and go at low idle. I thought the original brakes on my 52 car were crapola and scary.
