Hi! I'm putting things back together under the hood of my 53 Chevy truck and I need to know where one of the cables goes to the carb. The one on the back of the carb that goes on a downward angle.

I have the choke where it goes but need to attach the throttle or trim cable. (Is it called throttle? Its the T cable on the dash in the truck...)

I have the support bracket that holds the cable but not sure where the wire hooks into.

Does anyone know? If so, do you have an illustration or picture?

What exactly does it do and how important is it??
