I got a shock when I was quoted $113 to UPS a package to Scotland from Illinois! It was 2 small 1/4" brass airline fittings!
In the end I got them sent to my buddy in Va. Who then posted them USPS. Even though I incurred two shipping costs,it still worked out much cheaper.
It didn't take a whole lot longer to arrive either!
