I'm setting the valves after replacing the engine. Just had the engine out so the truck could be blasted.
I thought I recalled a cold adjust procedure..something like bringing cyl 1 up to TDC and gapping the valves...then moving on the other cylinders somehow..I must have been dreaming it..none of my books or online manuals discuss it..They simply say heat the up and gap while running..which I've in the past.
Anyone heard of a cold procedure?
