Hi 36, If you are restoring, the 36 had a 207 C I and either a 3 or 4 speed tranny ( both were available). There were 2 types of truck available- High cab for 1/2 the year, Low cab for the 2nd half year. There were MANY differences so you need to identify which truck you have. Post a picture and we'll be able to tellin a second if you any trouble. I'm trying to stay stock so can't help you with your engine choice.
