It's best to turn the drums on the hub. To remove the drum for replacement some have 3 rivets holding them on. They can be cut, drilled, or ground down. In fact they need to be removed if you run special wheels. They can keep the wheels from seating. Some models use 3 slotted screws holding them on. Some dont have anything holding them on & are just stuck to the drum.
