I get a pretty decent sound, you don't see it, it was pretty harmless to the truck, and it's held up nicely so far. Two pieces of 1" X 4" pine (painted black), 2 - 4" pieces of gas line (for protection), a jig saw, a drill, 4 screws, 4 beers, and you're in... Click the pic...
