R-BO is so right... Welding car/truck metal is like doing spot welds (short bursts).. Also unless you want waves, after a short weld, move to another area (to let the welded area cool)... Rust is a good place where the welding takes out the metal like melting butter,,, and or the longer you hold the trigger..
