| | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,961 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,961 | I have seen many bearings "welded" to the spindle to the point that the bearing had to be torched off. If splitting the bearing doesn't work, you will need someone who is very steady with a torch to burn it off. You will then need to dress the spindle to accept a new bearing. Hopefully yours isn't this far gone. | | |
